Hailing from an independent and family owned “boutique” négociant in Beaujolais, this light and intensely fruity wine is lovely for the summer months. 100% Gamay vinified in stainless steel tanks with the traditional Beaujolais technique, it has a roundness and richness on the palate with a long finish.
Christophe Coquard comes from a long line of vinegrowers in Theizé-en-Beaujolais and since 2015 established Maison Coquard to offer quality wines that express both heritage and innovation. In collaboration with various local artists, each artwork on the label reflects something specific to the wine.
